Question: What is this site for?
Answer: This site was designed for hosts to be able to enter their tournaments in one spot with built in features for them as well as the bowlers who are looking for tournaments to bowl
in their area or where they are going to be.
Question: Why did you create this site?
Answer: I have been a bowler without tournaments to bowl for a long time, or at least without knowledge of tournaments that are coming up. With a little work, some help from all of you we can make
this site the one stop shop for tournament information. It is designed to be self maintaining as long as hosts/centers/clubs put their tournaments on the site.
Question: How does this benefit bowlers?
Answer: Bowlers can locate a tournament to bowl using the site or our Android or iOS apps - Search for iBowltournaments in the app stores. Android is out now (March 5th, 2018) - iOS Release Date (March 14th, 2018)
Bowlers find a tournament in the upcoming tournaments section, once they decide to go, the will click add to add to their calendar. On tournament day, you can touch
the map button on your phone for that tournament to get instant directions. You can enter Notes, Profit and Loss info, Upload Photos for future reference. You can create
a history report of past tournaments with results, and follow centers, tournaments or hosts.
Question: How does this benefit Tournament Hosts/Centers/Clubs?
Answer: By allowing bowlers the opportunity to locate their tournaments easily. There are several features for hosts including: Quick entry of a tournament to the site. If you have a
flyer you can upload it after entering the basic information. If you do not have one, the site can create a basic flyer for you. If changes need to be made, you have acces to edit any
of the information and send a message through the site to everyone that is currently signed up for your tournament. You can view bowlers who have added your tournament to their calendar.
If you run multiple tournaments throughout the year, you can enter your entire schedule at once. ibowltournaments will handle the rest. No need to 'Bump' your tournament. The site will
even let you know if other tournaments are scheduled in your area when you enter yours. You can choose to keep yours on that date, or move it at that time to get the most bowlers to your event.
